I'm Giulia, a UX designer living in London.
I’m a lifelong creative with an analytic approach to life. Before entering the world of UX I was working as a commercial photographer. As a photographer, I always had a synesthetic connection to colour. I also learnt to notice the small details that create a composition and I enjoy applying these skills to UX design.
I love being challenged and being proven wrong and I pride myself in adapting very quickly to any situation.
My happy place is filled with books, The Cinematic Orchestra soundtracks, cheese and 70s fashion and interior design.
I also geek out on languages, recipes with unusual pairings (after reading The Flavour Thesaurus by Nikki Segnit) and car-boot sales where I can haggle over prices (a life skill learnt while living in Beijing).
I'm currently involved in the DailyUI Challenge which has been great for experimenting with new ideas. I've been creating them on rotation on Sketch, Figma and Adobe XD to get more comfortable with all three of them.
